The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 171 out of 5108 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on August 13 shows.
The largest number of new cases is in Varna – 33; Sofia city – 31: and Blagoevgrad – 23.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 13893.
The active cases are 4932.
Of the total, 834 are in hospitals, 63 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the past 24 hours are 325, thus bringing the total recoveries to 8479.
The medical professionals who tested positive for the virus are 769, including 6 confirmed in the past 24 hours.
Eleven Covid-19 associated deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. The total of fatalities rose to 482.
