The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 176 out of 5877 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on August 14 shows.
The largest number of new cases is in Blagoevgrad – 23 and Sofia city – 30.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 14069.
The active cases are 4684.
Of the total, 824 are in hospitals, 63 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the past 24 hours are 422, thus bringing the total recoveries to 8901.
The medical professionals who tested positive for the virus are 780, including 11 confirmed in the past 24 hours: 4 doctors; 3 nurses; 1 paramedic; 2 healthcare assistants and 1 other medical staff.
Two Covid-19 associated deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. The total of fatalities rose to 484.
