The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,835 from 20,996 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on September 24.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 103; Bourgas - 36; Varna - 145; Veliko Turnovo – 85; Vidin – 49; Vratsa – 24; Gabrovo – 59; Dobrich – 39; Kardzhali - 19; Kyustendil - 27; Lovech - 32; Montana - 57; Pazardzhik - 47; Pernik - 38; Pleven – 44; Plovdiv - 150; Razgrad - 14; Rousse - 67; Silistra – 32; Sliven - 36; Smolyan – 31; Sofia district - 70; Sofia city – 401; Stara Zagora - 69; Targovishte - 30; Haskovo - 50; Shoumen – 43; Yambol - 38.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 489,423.
The active cases are 41,752.
Of the total, 4,949 patients are in hospitals, 414 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,055 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 427,321
· 11,441 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,494,575
· 99 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 20,350
