Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 189 new cases, total rises to 10312

One hundred and eighty nine (189) new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours from 2161 PCR tests, data on the national information system shows on July 26.

The latest cases were reported in the following districts in the country: Blagoevgrad – 15; Bourgas – 4: Varna – 16; Vratsa – 2; Gabrovo – 7; Dobrich – 6; Kyustendil – 4; Montana – 1; Pazardzhik – 5; Pernik – 2; Pleven – 1; Plovdiv – 8; Rousse – 7; Silistra – 5; Sliven – 2; Smolyan – 5; Sofia district – 4; Sofia city – 92; Haskovo -2; Yambol – 1

The total-lab-confirmed cases in the country to date are at 10 312.

The active cases are 4668.

54 people recovered over the past 24 hours. The total recoveries since the start of the epidemic are 5306.

Out of the total, 694 people are in hospitals, 33 of them in intensive care.

The medical professionals who tested positive for coronavirus are 606. The latest cases reported over the past 24 hours are 4, including 1 doctor, 1 health care assistant and 2 other medical staff.

The deaths of patients with positive results for Covid-19 are 338.

One Covid-19 associated death was reported over the past 24 hours.
