The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria are 189 out of 6,042 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on September 19 shows.
The latest cases were reported in the following districts: Blagoevgrad - 29; Bourgas – 6; Varna – 14; Veliko Turnovo - 2; Vratsa – 5; Gabrovo – 1; Dobrich – 3; Kardzhali – 1; Kyustndil – 3; Lovech – 1; Montana – 3; Pazardzhik – 7; Pernik – 1; Pleven – 4; Plovdiv – 20; Razgrad – 1; Rousse – 1; Sliven – 4; Smolyan - 1; Sofia district – 5; Sofia city – 40; Stara Zagora – 16; Targovishte – 7: Haskovo – 5; Shoumen – 6; Yambol – 3.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 18,733.
The active cases are 4,470.
Of the total, 728 are in hospitals, 34 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the past 24 hours are 119. The total recoveries are 13,510.
The medical professionals who tested positive for the virus are 1,048, including 12 new registered overnight: 5 doctors; 1 nurse; 4 healthcare assistants and 2 other medical staff.
Four Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. The total of fatalities rose to 753.
