One hundred and ninety six (196) new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours from 2003 PCR tests, data on the national information system shows on July 19.
The latest cases were reported in the following districts: Blagoevgrad – 28; Bourgas – 19; Varna – 14; Veliko Turnovo – 15;Vidin – 2; Dobrich – 2; Kyustendil – 5; Lovech – 3; Pazardzhik – 3; Pernik – 1; Pleven – 5; Plovdiv – 14; Rousse – 2; Silistra – 2; Sliven – 3; Smolyan – 4; Sofia district – 14; Sofia city – 55; Stara Zagora – 1; Haskvo – 1; Shoumen – 2; Yambol – 1.
The total-lab-confirmed cases in the country to date are at 8638.
The active cases are 4258.
48 people recovered over the past 24 hours. The total recoveries since the start of the epidemic are 4081.
Out of the total, 605 people are in hospitals, 34 of them in intensive care.
The medical professionals who tested positive for coronavirus are 567. The latest cases reported over the past 24 hours are 7.
The deaths of patients with positive results for Covid-19 are 299.
Two Covid-19 associated deaths were reported over the past 24 hours.
