The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 210 out of 5338 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on August 12 shows.
The largest number of new cases is in Sofia city – 59: Plovdiv – 31 and Blagoevgrad – 24.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 13722.
The active cases are 5097.
Of the total, 861 are in hospitals, 64 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the past 24 hours are 174, thus bringing the total recoveries to 8154.
The medical professionals who tested positive for the virus are 763, including 8 in the past 24 hours.
Twelve Covid-19 associated deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. The total of fatalities rose to 471.
