Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 236 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 236 from 5,478 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 27.

Test positivity rate is 4,3%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,164,358.

The active cases are 80,263.

Of the total, 439 patients are in hospitals, 38 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 1,372 recoveries;

· 728 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 6 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 63,98% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 83,33% had not been vaccinated.

There were 35 new hospitalisations, of which 68,57% had not been vaccinated.
