The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,485 from 21,775 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 9.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 518,995.
The active cases are 49,828.
Of the total, 5,453 patients are in hospitals, 462 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,928 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 447,581
· 7,210 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,585,160
· 81 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 21,586
Of the daily cases, 86.20% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 95.06% had not been vaccinated.
There were 639 new hospitalisations, of which 88.73% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
