The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,542 from 18,376 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 7.
The daily percentage of positive tests is at 13.8%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 514,208.
The active cases are 48,716.
Of the total, 5,312 patients are in hospitals, 455 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,593 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 444,081
· 7,193 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,570,248
· 91 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 21,411
Of the daily cases, 86.62% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 93.41% had not been vaccinated.
There were 657 new hospitalisations, of which 90.41% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
