The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 26 out of 1470 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on August 31 shows.
The latest cases were reported in the following districts: Blagoevgrad - 19; Varna -3; Dobrich – 1; Kyustendil – 2; Pazardzhik - 4; Plovdiv - 1; Razgrad – 1; Smolyan - 5; Sofia city -5.
Of the total, Covid-19 726 patients are in hospitals, 63 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the past 24 hours are 60.
Eight Covid-19 associated deaths were reported in the past 24 hours.
