Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 262 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 262 from 5,655 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 20.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,162,986.

The active cases are 85,928.

Of the total, 561 patients are in hospitals, 50 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 3,264 recoveries;

· 767 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 7 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 66,41% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 57,14% had not been vaccinated.

There were 48 new hospitalisations, of which 70,83% had not been vaccinated.
