The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,866 from 25,165 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 6.
The daily percentage of positive tests is at 11.4%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 511,666.
The active cases are 47,858.
Of the total, 5,223 patients are in hospitals, 460 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 2,029 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 442,488
· 7,412 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,555,664
· 104 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 21,320
Of the daily cases, 87.40% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 96.15% had not been vaccinated.
There were 686 new hospitalisations, of which 91.40% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
