The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 290 from 4,859 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on September 25.
The percentage of the people infected with the virus is nearly 6%.
The latest cases were reported in the following districts: Blagoevgrad – 58; Bourgas – 16; Varna – 10; Veliko Turnovo – 1; Gabrovo – 6; Kardzhali – 1; Kyustendil – 1; Lovech – 1; Montana - 3; Pazardzhik – 8; Pernik – 3; Plovdiv – 22; Razgrad – 4; Rousse – 6; Silistra – 4; Sliven - 3; Smolyan – 2; Sofia district – 2; Sofia city – 61; Stara Zagora – 20; Targovishte – 27; Haskovo – 5; Yambol - 15.
The total cases confirmed in the country since the start of the epidemic rose to 19,573.
The active cases are 4,775.
Of the total, 744 patients are in hospitals, 30 of them being in intensive care.
The total recoveries are 14,013. Of them, 146 were registered over the past 24 hours.
Six more Covid-19 related deaths were reported thus bringing the total to 785.
