The latest cases were reported in the following regions: Blagoevgrad – 19; Bourgas – 11; Varna - 18; Veliko Turnovo – 8; Gabrovo – 3; Dobrich – 15; Kardzhali – 5; Kyustendil – 11; Pazardzhik – 11; Pernik – 3; Pleven – 15; Plovdiv – 43; razgrad – 2; Rousse – 7; Silistra – 1; Sliven – 4; Smolyan – 4; Sofia district – 12; Sofia city – 98; Shoumen – 2.
The total-lab-confirmed cases in the country to date are at 6964.
The active cases are 3389.
79 people recovered over the past 24 hours. The total recoveries since the start of the epidemic are 3308.
Out of the total, 516 people are in hospitals, 32 of them in intensive care.
The medical professionals who tested positive for coronavirus are 504. 14 new cases were reported over the past 24 hours, including 5 doctors, 5 nurses, 1 health care assistant and 3 other medical staff.
The deaths of people who had a positive test result for Covid-19 are 267. The daily number of Covid-19 associated deaths is 5 people: a 63 year old man with no other illnesses; a 45 year old man with diabetes; a 67 year old man with no underlying health conditions; an 87 year old man with pneumonia and other illnesses and a 76 year old woman with heart disease.
