Forty one new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours from 1196 PCR tests, a statement from the task force published on national information system says on June 6.
The districts with the latest cases include: Blagoevgrad -1; Bourgas – 1; Vratsa – 2; Gabrovo – 1; Kardzhali – 2; Pazardzhik – 2; Pleven – 1; Razgrad – 3; Sliven – 6; Sofia district – 7; Sofia city – 13; Shoumen -1; Yambol – 1;.
The total confirmed cases in the country are 2668.
The active cases are 980.
The recoveries since the start of the epidemic are 1528, including 138 over the past 24 hours.
147 patients with Covid-19 are in hospitals, 12 of them being in intensive care.
The total number of medical staff infected with the virus is 288. Two new medical professionals tested positive over the past 24 hours – 2 nurses from Samokov.
The total number of deaths since the start of the epidemic is 160. A 60 year old man from Pazardzhik died on June 5. He did not have underlying health conditions
