Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 429 new cases, positivity rate is at 2%

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 429 from 20,868 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on August 5.

Daily percentage of positive cases is at 2%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 426,432

The active cases are 9,482.

Of the total, 955 patients are in hospitals, 90 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 52 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 398,721

· 12,655 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,063,643

· 4 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 18,229.
