The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 58 from 1,103 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on September 28. This means that 5,25% of the tested persons were infected.
The latest cases were reported in the following districts: Blagoevgrad – 3; Bourgas – 2; Gabrovo – 19;; Montana - 7; Pazardzhik – 4; Smolyan – 3; Sofia district – 1; Sofia city – 17; stara Zagora – 1; Targovishte – 1.
The total cases confirmed in the country since the start of the epidemic rose to 20,055.
The active cases are 5,083.
Of the total, 794 patients are in hospitals, 41 of them being in intensive care.
The total recoveries are 14,176. Of them, 16 were registered over the past 24 hours.
The medical professionals who have tested positive for coronavirus are 1119, including 2 new cases over the past 24 hours.
Seven Covid-19 related deaths were reported over the past 24 hours. The total stands at 796.
