Ninety three new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours from 2640 PCR tests, the national information system reported on June 12.
The latest cases in the following districts: Bourgas – 1; Vidin – 1; Gabrovo – 1; Dobrich – 1; Kardzhali – 12; Lovech – 3; Pazardzhik – 2; Pleven – 4; Plovdiv – 2; Razgrad – 2; Sliven – 9; Smolyan – 2; Sofia district – 2; Sofia city – 33; Stara Zagora – 1;Haskovo – 4; Shoumen – 11; Yambol – 2.
The total number of cases in the country is now 3086. The active cases are 1230.
1688 patients have recovered, including 24 in the past 24 hours.
204 people diagnosed with Covid-19 are in hospitals, 15 of them are in intensive care.
The medical staff who tested positive for the virus is 311, including 5 medical professionals confirmed in Nova Zagora and in Pleven over the past 24 hours.
Total of 168 people diagnosed with Covid-19 have died since the start of the epidemic, including an 88 year old man in the past 24 hours. He also had kidney and heart diseases.
The Ministry of Health extends condolences to the family and relatives.
