The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,471 from 23,480 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 12.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 524,333.
The active cases are 51,858.
Of the total, 5,505 patients are in hospitals, 472 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1,862 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 450,662
· 5,166 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,593,879
· 157 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 21,813
Of the daily cases, 84.44% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 92.99% had not been vaccinated.
There were 907 new hospitalisations, of which 90.63% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
