Simulation exercise for response by the authorities in the event of arrival of passengers infected with coronavirus is taking place at Sofia airport on February 25.
The exrcise will be carried out with a real flight from Istanbul as this is one of the risky destinations because direct flights from China arrive there.
Two passengers will take part in the exercise. They will be warned in advance about their inclusion in the training.
Terminals 1 and 2 have thermal cameras that monitor all passengers and anyone with body temperature over 37 degrees is taken to an insulator to be screened. If a disease is suspected, he or she is transported to a hospital.
