The specialized criminal court on 23rd of Januiary failed to proceed with the case of the Corporate Commercial Bank (Corpbank) siphoning off, because the majority shareholder Tzetan Vassilev was not regularly summoned and has not received the indictment.
No answer has been received yet in relation to the court’s request for legal assistance sent to Serbia (Tzvetanov has been in Serbia since 2014).
The first sitting of the court was scheduled for 13th of December 2017. The indictment includes more than 210,000 pages. It was filed by the Specialised Prosecutor’s Office on 20th of July. The prosecution at the time said that more than 400 witnesses were interviewed.
