The Council of Ministers on April 26 approved a decision to extend the Programme for Humanitarian Assistance to Displaced Persons from Ukraine granted temporary protection in Bulgaria. The programme’s validity period is extended until 30 June and the current conditions remain in place.
An additional measure is introduced for effective control in the administration of the assistance under the programme for persons seeking temporary protection in Bulgaria due to the war in Ukraine.
In connection with the finalisation of the payments under the Programme and in order to correctly verify the due final amounts to the participants, an additional measure for effective control in the administration of the humanitarian assistance is introduced, namely the submission of a completed Declaration of Compliance in accordance with the model set out in Annex 4 to the Programme.
The declaration shall be provided by the legal representative of the person operating the facility upon request by the administrator of the assistance, the Ministry of Tourism. It shall be signed with a qualified electronic signature and submitted through the Secure Electronic Delivery System.
