In connection with the complicated epidemic situation and the high levels of morbidity per 100,000 population reported in the past 14 days in countries close to Bulgaria, the Ministry of Health recommends that Bulgarian citizens refrain from non-essential travel to Cyprus, Greece and Turkey.
In view of the dynamic situation regarding the spread of the coronavirus infection, the Ministry appeals to the citizens to observe the exisiting anti-epidemic measures for physical distance, frequent disinfection and wearing a protective face mask.
The Ministry of Health draws attention to the fact that the summer season is extremely suitable for vaccination against COVID-19, Bulgaria is still in the "green zone" in terms of the spread of COVID-19, access to the four EU-approved vaccines is provided and every citizen can make informed choice regardless of health insurance status.
Vaccines protect against severe disease and hospitalization. They are the only effective and safe way to protect ourselves and our loved ones, the ministry says.
