On day 36 of the protests on August 13, the protesters gathered at the usual place, the Tiangle of Power in Sofia. The three crossroads, at Eagles’ Bridge, the University and at Dondukov remained blocked to traffic.
At 21:30, protesters blocked traffic at the junction at the Romanian embassy, where they put up a tent camp.
The main topic today was the extraordinary sitting of the Parliament, which did not take place because of lack of quorum. Some said that this Parliament is already exhausted, others said the sitting failed because of the GERB MPs.
About 21:00, the protestrs went on their routine procession to Eagles’ Bridge. They said they intend to reach to the Romanian embassy junction.
New thing today was that the protesters started a petition to collect singatures in support of machine voting.
