On Day 38 of protests on August 15, demonstrators gathered at the usual stating point outside the Presidency.
The ain demands remain unchanged – resignation of the government and the Chief Prosecutor; introduction of machine voting and changes to the judicial system.
The three traffic blockades in Sofia remain in place: at the crossroads at Sofia University, Eagles’ Bridge and in front of the Council of Ministers.

In a speech to the protesters, the organisers from the so-called "Poisonous Trio" has called for the tent camps to be strengthened. They added - "beware of provocateurs, they have apparently ordered the police not to protect us." Earlier, the "Poisonous Trio" came out with an official position on the Prime Minister's statement to convene a Grand National Assembly and changes to the Constitution.
The protest was over about 22:00.because of the sudden rain in Sofia.
Shortly before 20:00, the police detained a man, who wanted to bathe in the fountain in front of the Presidency.
