On day 83 (September 29) of protests in Sofia, the demands remain the same: resignation of the government, the Chief Prosecutor, introduction of machine voting at elections, changes to the judicial system.
At 19:30, the protesters blocked traffic to Tsar Osvoboditel boulevard. As on previous nights, the protest organisers deliver speeches and after that the procession to Eagles’ Bridge takes place.
Earlier today, the protest organisers from the so called “Poisonous Trio” presented their position regarding the rally outside the headquarters of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF).
MRF pointed out that despite the fact that the protest was in front of the party headquarters, they adhere to the rights and freedoms of citizens, regardless of their religion, age or gender.
