I want to thank all the people in Sofia who voted today. I thank everyone who supported me. I understand what they have told me in these elections – the path is right, people expect us to deliver, but they also expect change, Yordanka Fandakova, who won a fourth term in office in the mayoral elections in Sofia told a press conference on November 3 after the end of the voting.
I will ensure fulfillment of the commitments I have made, including the work in the municipal council, Fandakova noted.
I would like to thank the people with right-wing orientation in particular and talk about specific actions and policies, she added.
Fandakova explained that she would propose a new draft budget for Sofia next month, and before that she would propose changes in the municipality's structure related to changes in the management.
I am grateful to everyone who supported me. I take it as a huge responsibility, Fandakova said.
