Fine particles concentration was five times higher in the air in Sofia’s residential area of Hipodruma on 8th of January, readings from the National Environmental Protection Agency's real time air quality control system showed.
In Hipodruma residential quarter, the levels exceed the standards by 7 times, in Pavlovo - by 3.88 times and in Nadezhda – by 3.74 times. Increased concentration was also registered in "Mladost" - by 2.69 times and in Druzhba - by 2.11.
