For second day on 27th of June, owners of small petrol stations staged a national protest, this time outside the building of the Council of Ministers in Sofia. Their dissatisfaction is against the new draft law on the trade of fuels and petroleum products.

The participants in the protest believe that this law will lead to bankruptcy of nearly 400 small petrol stations, which hold around 15 percent of the country's fuel market.
According to the law, the small petrol stations are assimilated to the large fuel chains with guarantees ranging from BGN 200,000 to 500,000 and a registered capital of BGN 3 million.
The law may put private petrol stations in small towns out of business and may also lead to a rise in the price of fuel, the protestors said.
