In the first hours of 2018, Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture will bring together classical music lovers for the New Year's Eve concert "The Spirit of Europe".
The thirty-first edition of the event will meet the glamour of tradition with Svetlin Roussev's magic violin and the brilliant sound of the Festival Symphony Orchestra. The concert on 1 January at 6 pm will be the first event in Bulgaria to mark the beginning of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
The concert will include works of composers from all 28 EU Member States. Bulgaria will be presented with the Nestinari’s Dance from the “Nestinarka” (“Priestess of Fire”) Ballet by Marin Goleminov. Soloist of the concert will be the famous violinist Svetlin Roussev. The conductor is maestro Emil Tabakov.
