GERB has responded to the decision of Zhivko Todorov to step down from the party’s leadership.
“We accept Zhivko Todorov’s decision as a personal act of responsibility. He is one of GERB’s most successful mayors and, through our joint work, we have achieved a great deal for Stara Zagora,” the party said in a statement.
GERB also noted that it has conducted an analysis of where it has made mistakes and what needs to be improved in its work.
