GERB-UDF and “We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria” will hold a leadership meeting in search of consensus on the issues concerning the agenda of the state and society in the context of the upcoming handing over of the first mandate by President Radev to seek to form a government.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 25, at 10.30 am in the National Assembly, the GERB press office said on April 24.
It was initiated by the largest parliamentary group GERB-UDF, the message says. The second largest parelimentaty group accepted the invitation.
This week, GERB-UDF will invite the leaders of the other parliamentary parties in the 49th National Assembly to meetings.
President Radev’s decision not to be in a hurry to hand over the first mandate in order to give Parliament time to adopt a budget that does not plunge the country into a debt crisis and new loans, is also expected to be part of the agenda of the upcoming talks.
