The Global Women Leaders’ Forum started in sofia on 18th of May. Over 70 successful and world-changing women leaders from 4 continents will take part in the event, which was organized by the Council of Business Women in Business in Bulgaria and UNESCO under the patronage of the Director General of the organization Irina Bokova.
The opening ceremony was attended by Bulgaria’s President Rossen Plevneliev.
The forum will bring together female leaders from business, politics, social and cultural fields. The participants will find a platform to discuss current trends of women’s empowerment and gender equality and explore ways to support and improve the role of women in business and society.
