The Bulgarian government on November 4 adopted a National Programme “Digital Bulgaria 2025” as well as a roadmap for its implementation.
The document sets out the conditions for building an innovative digital infrastructure, using e-services and enhancing digital skills.
The programme is based on the new European strategic and programme guidelines for achieving smart, sustainable and society-focused digital growth.
The goal of Digital Bulgaria 2025 is to promote a set of measures to ensure a strong, competitive, data-driven economy to make use of the potential of innovative technologies such as cloud computing, big data, artificial intellect, blockchain and and others.
Promoting a secure cyber ecosystem and addressing cyber security challenges are among the key areas of the document.
