The government has committed to providing 1.3 billion BGN for the completion of the construction of Hemus motorway.
Some 180 km are built from Hemus motorway, from Sofia to Boaza and from Belokopitovo to Varna. 207 km remain to be completed, divided into 9 lots.
Completing the motorway is a top priority in the Government's Programme, as Northern Bulgaria's future is linked to the construction of the motorway, which is expected to increase the region's GDP by 10%.
It is expected to be built in 2023.
