Work begins to repair landslide damage on the road to Bulgaria’s Rila Monastery. The repair of the collapsed section of the road starts after an inspection of the PM Boyko Borissov.
A 100 metre long and 4 metre high retaining wall will be built. The cost of the repairs will be 6 million BGN.
"Good work is done on the collapsed section of the road to the Rila Monastery. You saw it, photographed it,” PM told journalists. “We will work more slowly so as not to risk the lives of the builders," he added.
Rila Monastery has already received 600 000 BGN for maintenance and 1.3 million BGN for building a new purification station.
