The Minister in charge for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2018, Lilyana Pavlova, is on a three-day visit to Davos where she will take part in the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum.
The Minister in charge for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2018, Lilyana Pavlova, is on a three-day visit to Davos where she will take part in the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum.
This year, the forum brings together world leaders in business, politics and culture under the theme: “Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World”.
Minister Lilyana Pavlova will hold a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of governments from different countries as well as leading international companies. As a member of the New Leaders for Europe Community, she will take part in a number of forums to discuss events influencing the regional and global agenda, the role and future of Europe in the world.
Minister Pavlova is also a member of the Think-tank for European Policy which is part of the initiative of the World Economic Forum "New Concept for Europe". The initiative aims to offer a roadmap for future governance models and the future development of Europe. The working group also includes a number of high-ranking representatives of European countries and institutions.
Within the framework of the Davos Forum, the Working Group will present a report summarising ideas, proposals and views on the future of Europe.
