New stricter anti-epidemic measures come into force in the district of Gabrovo (Central Bulgaria) today, October 4. The area has been designated as Covid-19 dark red zone in terms of morbidity.
By order of the director of the Regional Health Inspectorate, a ban is introduced for mass events. Fitness centres, swimming pools and spas are temporarily closed.
Cinemas and theatres operate at 30% of the capacity and with the obligatory wearing of protective masks.
Students from the district will study on a rotating basis, there will be both in-person attendance classes and distance learning. Kindergartens and nurseries remain open.
Visiting patients in hospitals is not permitted.
