A man died and six were injured in a tram accident in Sofia’s Druzhba residential area on January 23, the Interior Ministry confirmed.
The man, who died in the accident, was crossing the tram line. The injured people were admitted to Saint Anna hospital, including the tram driver, who has a head injury, but with no risk for her life.
The tram route of lines 20 and 23 was temporarily changed.
