It is with deep sadness that I have learned the news of the killing of innocent citizens in the German city of Hanau. Dear Mr President, the Members of the Bulgarian Parliament and I extend our sincerest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and to the MPs of the Federal Republic of Germany," Tsveta Karayancheva said.
The Speaker of the Parliament states that Bulgaria strongly condemns all acts of violence and xenophobia, does not accept and cannot find justification for the death and pain of innocent people. I am convinced that the authorities in Germany are doing everything necessary so that the relatives of the victims are not alone at this difficult time, adds Tsveta Karayancheva.
