Bulgaria's Parliament on June 6 voted to elect Nikolai Denkov as Prime Minister of Bulgaria and approved the structure and composition of the cabinet proposed by him.
The vote in the 240-seat legislature was 132-69 with no abstentions.
The MPs voted to approve the structure of the Denkov-Gabriel cabinet. 132 voted in favour, 69 voted against, no one abstained. The government is headed by a Prime Minister with one Deputy Prime Minister and 18 ministers.
The MPs voted to support the line-up of the Denkov-Gabriel cabinet. 131 voted in favour, 69 voted against, there were no abstentions.

The new cabinet with the mandate of WCC-DB and Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov took the oath of office after the government was approved by the 49th National Assembly.

At an extraordinary sitting at 1 p.m. on June 6th, the MPs voted on the Denkov-Gabriel draft cabinet after President Rumen Radev issued a decree yesterday asking Parliament to approve the proposal.
The proposed government on a rotating basis was put together after the second largest group in Parliament “We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria” (WCC-DB), reached an agreement with the largest parliamentary group, GERB-UDF.
According to the agreement, Denkov of WCC-DB will serve as Prime Minister for the first nine months, after which GERB-UDF’s Mariya Gabriel will take over as PM in the next 9 months.
