From the beginning of October 2023, payments by bank transfer to the National Revenue Agency (NRA) will be made through five new BNB bank accounts. Each of them is intended for the repayment of a specific debt: taxes, social security and health insurance contributions, contributions to the State Social Insurance Institution and claims subject to enforcement by a public executor. Individuals and companies from all over the country will pay the respective type of debt to the designated account, regardless of which NRA structure they are registered with by their permanent address or registered office.
Transfers to the revenue agency will continue to be made by any bank in the country or other payment service provider, in accordance with the tariffs of the relevant financial institutions.
Until the end of September, payments will be made to the existing bank accounts.
Individuals and companies can continue to settle their debts without fees by using the physical POS terminals in the offices of the revenue agency, as well as the virtual POS (e-payment service) in the NRA's e-services portal.
