Major pipe break accident in the district heating system on 21st of December left 20,000 households in Sofia without heating and hot water.
Heat supply to 762 sub-stations was suspended because of the pipe break. The 25 metre long pipe will be replaced.
Four teams are working to fix the problem.
Acording to information from the district heating company, the residential areas without heating and hot water are “Belite Brezi”, “Strelbishte”, “Krasno Selo”, “Gotse Delchev” and parts of “Borovo”and “Motopista”.
