As a result of the agreements achieved for Afghanistan, Bulgari will not withdraw its contingent from Afghanistan, Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said on 5th of October.
He met with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini. They discussed the migration crisis and the implementation of the agreement between EU and Turkey.
Bulgaria’s Prime Minister was in Brussels for the donor conference for Afghanistan.
Speaking with journalists, he reminded that a while ago, he had warned that if the issue with the Afghani migrants had not been not solved, he would have submitted a proposal to the Parliament to withdraw the Bulgarian contingent from Afghanistan.
Borissov hopes that the readmission agreement with Afghanistan will be ratified quickly and will start working. If this agreement proves effective, the PM said, similar agreements may be reached with other risk countries.
