President appointed Sonya Momchilova as member of the Council for Electronic Media

Bulgaria’s Head of State Rumen Radev on July 27 signed a decree appointing Sonya Yordanova Momchilova-Yoveva as a member of the Council for Electronic Media from the presidential quota, a press release from the presidency said..

Sonya Momchilova has over thirty years of experience in the field of journalism and media. She has experience as an expert in public communications and public relations.

From 1991 to 2000, she worked in various television formats of the Bulgarian National Television as a reporter, editor and producer. He is the creator and host of radio and television programs in private media. Author and translator of books for children and adults. She has dozens of publications in various electronic and print media.

Sonya Momchilova specialized in public relations and communications in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the United States and Belgium in the period 2001-2006. She is the author of advertising and election campaigns, an expert in political, media and corporate communications.

Sonya Momchilova was director of the press centre of the Ministry of Justice, director of the press centre of the Ministry of Interior, director of the press centre of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. She is the head of the government's press office in the second caretaker government, appointed by President Rumen Radev.

Sonya Momchilova will replace Ivelina Dimitrova, who resigned as a member of the media regulator.
