Protesters demand the resignation of the government and the Centraol Election Commision

"They handed out bonuses to the amount of BGN 22,000, but they didn't do work worth 22 coins. Not a single action, not a single decision for a whole year for the delivery of voting machines. And now they have locked themselves inside, being afraid that we may enter. We are only waking them up," said Maya Manolova from "Stand up. BG".

An hour later, another group of protesters marched from Orlov Most Eagles’ Bridge). They joined the protesters in front of the CEC's main entrance.

"The only thing we want from these people is resignation," said Georgi Georgiev, leader of Boets (Bulgaria United for One Goal) civil movement. .

Both groups of protesters demanded to enter the building and attend the CEC meeting, which began at 10am. Half an hour before its start, the group of Boets civil movement went to the back entrance. After they were not allowed into the building, the procession returned to Orlov Most.

"What the police told us was that the CEC told the services for protection, who asked the Ministry of Interior to tell us that the meeting of the commission will be held remotely. The CEC members refused to come physically to attend the meeting because of our presence, ie. in order not to meet with the members of the public and it was pointless to continue standing in front of the empty building ", said Georgi Georgiev - leader of Boets.

The protesters said they plan to block other institutions in the next days.
