Protest in front of the Court Palace in Sofia takes place on July 17. It is organisedby “Justice for Everyone” initiative. The protesters are demanding the resignation of the chief prosecutor and reforms in the judicial system.
The slogan of the protest is "Freedom does not need a cap."
The main demand of the protesters is the resignation of Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev. The dissatisfaction was provoked mainly by the action of the Prosecutor’s office in the Presidency and the arrest of two of the advisers to the head of state.
