Reactions in Parliament after GERB-UDF's nomination of Mariya Gabriel for Prime Minister

Most political forces give a positive assessment of the candidacy of Mariya Gabriel for Prime Minister. “We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria” (WCC-DB) coalition, however, does not retreat from its position and will not support a government with the first mandate of GERB-UDF. "Vazrazhdane" reiterated that they would only support a cabinet, which is with the mandate of their party. The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) insists on seeing the formula of government that Mariya Gabriel will propose and expects to receive an invitation for a meeting soon. The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) insist on a leadership meeting to clarify the main priorities. BSP leader, Kornelia Ninova, announced that they have already received an invitation for a conversation with Mariya Gabriel tomorrow and will respond to this invitation. “There is Such a People” (TISP) would only support a government with a first mandate if they had a thorough conversation about the main priorities beforehand.
