Sixth consecutive day of anti-government protests in Sofia. Protesters rejected allegations that Vassil Bozhkov was behind their organization.

They welcomed the announcements of the European Commission, the US and French embassies in Bulgaria in support of their right to demonstrate with a request for a judicial system in which the law reigns.

At 5 pm on July 14, members of the public gathered for another protest with their two main demands - for the resignations of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov and Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev.

The Presidency building was a starting point for the protesters. Around 19:30 they set off on their traditional procession to the National Assembly Square on the central streets of the capital, walked around the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and Dondukov Blvd.

At around 20:00 pm, traffic on Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. was temporarily blocked. After stopping for a while in front of the National Assembly, after 20:30 the protesters walked back to the Council of Ministers.

Fireworks display was improvised at the centre of the protest and smoke was thrown at the building.

The facade was illuminated with lasers by protesters, and the inscription "Resignation" was projected on the facade of the former Party House.

About 21:20, uniformed police officers with helmets started to form a line in front of the Council of Ministers.

The people in the square outside the Presidency believe that Vassil Bozkov supports the protests, but do not agree he organised them and that the recordings from special surveillance devices disclosed by the Prosecutor’s office today have the opposite effect.

Arman Baykian, one of the organisers of the protest: The result they achieve is that they infuriate the people in the square even more.

Some protesters are sceptical about tomorrow's no-confidence vote against the government, which will be lodged by the opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party.

Tonight, the protesters again stopped traffic on Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard with two of their main demands:

Let's try to do something so that the Chief Prosecutor resigns.

In short, people do not want this government, protesters say

And today the Ministry of Interior called for tolerance during the demonstrations.

Anton Zlatanov, Deputy Director of Sofia Directorate of the Ministry of Interior: Several times we were asked for help by random people from the protesters, who in their ranks recognised people who are trying to provoke tension, and we were asked to remove such people.

The protesting mothers from the "System Kills Us" protest backed the demands by waving black flags and flying black balloons over the Council of Ministers.
